Thanks for writing this. As someone born in 1967 and who pretty much embodied the slacker lifestyle for decades, I am these days tired of the self-congratulatory memes and essays praising my generation for being “above it all” and the only blameless generation. Drives me nuts. Our complicity in the state of the world today is nearly as bad as the Boomers. We have a lot to answer for.
