The nature of work is changing, so you have to change with it — here are some tips.

Job hunting is hard, but it seems the challenges have been greater this year. Here’s how to improve your chances.

Mention any remote work experience. Don’t be shy about putting it on your resume or mentioning it in an interview.

Look for companies doing the most business during these strange times. One example: Tech companies need people who can support their WFH employees.

You can still network. Keep your eyes and ears open for online group Zoom gatherings, This is a thing.

When interviewing online:

  1. Be on time.
  2. Look professional.
  3. Make your background look professional.
  4. Don’t fidget.
  5. Avoid multitasking.

No eating.

Train for free. Take advantage of free online courses and certifications.

Manage your expectations. You may not get your dream job but forward is better than nothing.

Be bold. ‘Nuff said.
