Being stuck in a rut is a terrible feeling. Here’s how to get unstuck.

Know Thyself

Who do you want to be? What goals have you sent for the month? The year? What bad habits or attitudes hold you back?

Focus On Your Future Self

Know that among the hardest things to change are bad habits and negative thoughts, but it can be done.

Focus your thoughts on who you want to become. Be as specific as you can.

Set reasonable daily goals to bring you closer to who you want to become. Take note of these goals every day — perhaps in a journal or to-do list.

Do the Work

Work each and every day on who you want to be. Be patient and kind to yourself. Change isn’t instant. It’s a process over time.

Consider your progress weekly. Adjust accordingly.
